COVID Advice

We have made several changes in the salon, and in our procedures, in order to create as safe an environment as possible.

We have completed BARBICIDE®️ COVID-19 and Dermalogica Clean Touch certification. These are online courses designed to reinforce our understanding of how best to minimise the risks to ourselves and our customers.

Guidance, for our close contact industry, continues to promote the wearing of a face shield/visor as well as a Grade 2 Surgical mask for all treatments. We will of course be following this advice.  When you visit I ask that you continue to wear a face mask/covering and only remove it when and if necessary to facilitate treatment. We will, of course, be washing our hands regularly and in accordance with the guidelines. We feel that thorough hand hygiene is of the utmost importance and the constant wearing of gloves should not replace this. We are, therefore, intending to perform some of our treatments such as facials, manicures, massage, without gloves. If you have any issues with this we can, of course, make exceptions.  We will be wearing gloves for body waxing treatments.

We will still be following a rigorous regime of cleaning and sterilising/disinfecting all non-disposable implements. Each item of equipment and furniture will be disinfected/sanitised after use, as will each product bottle used.  Each treatment area will be cleaned and surfaces disinfected before they are used again.  All contact/touch points will be sanitised after each visitor.

We will no longer have an open reception so we ask that either you make your purchases when you are attending an appointment, or you can schedule a retail slot with us. I will also continue to offer home deliveries within our area, so if you are between appointments and need anything just email or leave a message on the answerphone. Over the phone payment can be made for these purchases.

We will have hand sanitiser available in the reception area for those customers coming in for retail products only. Hand washing or hand sanitiser also avilable in each treatment room. 

Please do not attend, under any circumstances, if you are, or have been in contact with anyone who has recently tested positive, or if they or you are displaying any Covid symptoms or feeling generally unwell.

We are operating on an appointment only basis and cannot accept walk-ins.

There will not be a seated waiting area in the salon, and we ask that, where possible, only the person with the booked appointment attends. Minors will still need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and if you do need a chaperone they can be accommodated.

Please ensure you do not request an appointment if any of the following apply;

You have recently tested positive for COVID-19, or been in contact with someone who has.

Do not attend for at least 10 days after showing any symptoms of COVID-19, or until 2 consecutive negative test results are confirmed.

Do not attend for 10 days if somebody in your household, or that you have had close contact with, has tested positive for COVID-19.

Do not attend if you have been tested for COVID-19 and are currently awaiting the test results.

Please ensure any isolation requirements have been met following any foreign travel and, if required, please wait until you have a negative PCR test result before booking an appointment.

 If you already have an appointment booked please CANCEL, with as much notice as possible, if you then discover any of the above apply to you.

We also request that you cancel any bookings you have if you are feeling unwell in any way.
